The Discipleship Leadership team will host, and the event will feature a presentation of photos and videos from Mark Deshon’s midsummer Wesley Pilgrimage to England. Mark will talk about his experiences during his 10-day immersion in the life and spirit of the founders of the Methodist movement, John and Charles Wesley. His visit took him to Epworth, Oxford, Bristol, London and Salisbury—so much to see, and so much to learn!

More recently, it also sparked the Covenant Discipleship method that has been embraced by many at NUMC—a model for practicing our discipleship by committing ourselves to acts of compassion, justice, worship, and devotion and meeting weekly in small, supportive groups.

We look forward to this time together and hope that you will be a part of this delightful evening of food and faith!
