Lectionary Bible Study

Thursdays at noon

Zoom LinkThe NUMC Weekly Lectionary Bible study covers scripture readings for specific weeks of the year. The United Methodist Church uses the Revised Common Lectionary, which is a three-year cycle of readings. Each week, four passages are recommended, usually a passage from the Old Testament, Epistle, Psalms, and Gospel. Thus, over a 3-year period, the Bible is covered in a systematic and balanced way. These weekly readings, that will generally correspond with the upcoming Sunday message. This hybrid small group approach discusses the various passages from a historical context and life application.

Join us either in person or via Zoom (link in QR graphic)
