Summer Study for Adults and Young Adults

Tired of the divisive, negative politics surrounding us? Would you like to explore the possibilities for bridging our political divides in a non-threatening atmosphere?

Please join Rev. Dr. David Palmer and Jerry Swalley for an eleven-week study of Healing the Heart of Democracy, a book and video series by Parker Palmer, which urges us to adopt five “habits of the heart” to heal the growing political divisions in our communities.

The sessions will meet at 11 a.m. in Memorial Lounge each Sunday, beginning June 3 (no session on June 10 and July 1). There is no cost involved, and nothing is required except a willingness to learn and participate in the process.
