Traditional worship

Traditional (liturgical) services are offered on Sundays at 8:00 and 9:30 a.m. throughout the year. These services are held in the Sanctuary, located on the upper level of our facility.

Our service follows a rich Christian tradition that includes the reading of scripture (the Bible), thoughtful scripture-based messages from clergy (and occasionally from church members), singing hymns, moving music, and corporate prayer.

Holy Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month and on special occasions.  The sacrament of Communion is open to all at Christ’s invitation.

Our weekly liturgical services reflect the seasons of the Christian Year—Advent, Christmas, the Season after Epiphany, Lent, Holy Week, Easter, and the Season after Pentecost. Scripture readings are taken from the Revised Common Lectionary, and the sermon is usually based on one or more of these biblical readings.

Occasionally, we will celebrate a special series of services on a particular topic or issue.

We look forward to worshiping with you and hope that our worship services help facilitate sacred moments for you.
