NUMC is making changes

Here’s an update on construction for the ROF(2016) Project, which started in June 2016. Please click the link below to read about these changes.

> Details about the changes

The building will remain open for activities throughout construction with some changes, as follows:

Parking

Please note that the Delaware Avenue parking lot is now open, though not in its finished state. The new entrance to the lot is at the easternmost end of the lot. It is a combined entrance/exit area, so be careful both entering and exiting the lot.

Building Entrances

  • Daytime entrance during construction: Marble Entrance on the east side of the building
  • Evening entrance during construction: Cokesbury Lobby steps and handicapped entrance

Building Changes in Usage

  • Six restrooms on the three levels of the Education Wing are being renovated, requiring temporary use of the Cokesbury Lobby restrooms only
  • Heritage Hall renovations are still being completed, requiring all Sunday services to be held in the Sanctuary until further notice
  • Sanctuary lighting renovations will begin in January 2017, requiring all Sunday services to be held in Heritage Hall

We hope that any inconveniences you may encounter during our renovations will be minimal. If you have any questions about these building changes and the potential impact of construction on church activities, please do not hesitate to contact a member of the ROF Building Committee or Rob Cappiello, Church Business Manager.
