Current Sunday Classes

In-person studies are suspended currently.  Trying Christians is meeting virtually via Zoom at 12 noon on Sundays.

Here’s what’s in store:
Nov. 1 – “Climate Change: What You Likely Haven’t Heard” (led by Lew Buckminster)
Nov. 8 – “The 7 Definitive Letters of Paul” – I Corinthians (led by Lew Buckminster)
Nov. 15 – Congregational Care (with guests Rich Lapointe and Rev. Metty Mesick)
Nov. 22 – “Read and React: Readings on Thanksgiving” (led by Roland Roth)
Nov. 29 – “The 7 Definitive Letters of Paul” – II Corinthians (led by Mark Deshon)

Offerings Prior to Social Distancing

Sundays

Adult classes on Sunday mornings include opportunities for traditional Bible study, topical faith issues, book/author studies, and short-term studies.  Classes are held during the 9:30 and 11:oo a.m. worship hours.  During the summer months, a class is typically offered at 11:00 a.m.

“Teachables” – meets in the Samuel Wesley Room

“Faithful Friends” – meets in the Memorial Lounge

Evening Studies

Evening studies often are held once each fall and spring, often facilitated by our clergy. These classes usually explore in depth, from a faith perspective, challenging issues that impact our spiritual growth and health.
