Current Classes

In-person studies are suspended currently.  Trying Christians is meeting virtually via Zoom at 12 noon on Sundays.

Here’s what’s in store:
Sept. 13 – The 7 Definitive Letters of Paul: I Thessalonians (led by Mark Deshon)
Sept. 20 – The 7 Definitive Letters of Paul: Galatians (led by Mark Deshon)
Sept. 27 – “Read and React”: What Matters? (led by Roland Roth)

You can join us by contacting Mark Deshon (deshon@udel.edu) and telling him which class(es) you would like to attend, and he will send you the link to the Zoom class.

Offerings Prior to Social Distancing

Sundays

Adult classes on Sunday mornings include opportunities for traditional Bible study, topical faith issues, book/author studies, and short-term studies.  Classes are held during the 9:30 and 11:oo a.m. worship hours.  During the summer months, a class is typically offered at 11:00 a.m.

“Teachables” – meets in the Samuel Wesley Room

“Faithful Friends” – meets in the Memorial Lounge

Evening Studies

Evening studies often are held once each fall and spring, often facilitated by our clergy. These classes usually explore in depth, from a faith perspective, challenging issues that impact our spiritual growth and health.
